Summary: | Indonesia as an archipelago country also completed with various ecosystems. Because of this makes Indonesia as a tropical country that produce pineapples as a commodity to increase the Indonesian economy. Subang Regency is one of the biggest pineapple producers in Indonesia. Indonesia currently is in number five as the leading countries in pineapple production worldwide. High number of pineapple production in Subang is not comparable with the price that the farmers get. Objectives of the research is to collect the related information for the food development, post-harvest, and waste utilization of pineapple, also to find the right technology and collaboration to develop Ecobiz KUKM to reach its goals.
To solve this problem, internal analysis and external analysis are used. Internal analysis consists of Process Input and Output Analysis, and Value Chain Analysis. Meanwhile, external analysis consists of PESTEL Analysis, Market Analysis, and Post-Harvest Losses Analysis. The analysis will explain the main cause of problems of pineapple farmers in Subang us that lack of knowledge, lack of skills, lack of support from government, lack of business knowledge towards Ecobiz KUKM, and lack of collaboration between stakeholders.
Food development and choosing orchestrator in inclusive business system (Ecobiz KUKM) are used as a solution in this research. Pineapple farmers in Subang also need to have some training in order to increasing their knowledge towards the business model, develop technology needed for the food development, and have collaboration between stakeholders. |
