| Summary: | The rapid advancement of technology lately has been changing play activities in early childhood. The change on one hand has a negative value where the values that exists in traditional toys and games are diminishing in modern toys and games, especially in children’s interactions and communication. But on the other hand, the developmental factors and technology are inevitable and definitely needed by the children of the current generation.
To respond to this phenomenon, a toy that has values from both sides is designed. The selected object is touchscreen toys. Touchscreen device had become widespread and easily available to various groups, including children. These toys can utilize the functions of technology and can still be played without it and also have values that exists in traditional games.
