Description
Summary:The river is a natural drainage channel consisting of riverbed and river boundaries. As a part of natural systems, rivers are complex and orderly systems. The complexity of the river system can be seen from various components, for example the shape of the flow and branching of the river. Nevertheless, the river is a system that is organized and integrated with each other from one component to another. Physical changes in a river channel can cause interference with other lines, such as diversion of Cisadane River in BSD area. This activity makes the formation of new river paths shorter than the previous river channel. Thus causing an increase in the slope of the river flow which causes an increase in the water level in the lower part of the river. Based on the results of river modeling in Bankfull conditions, it shows that there are differences in the area of the old and new river flows of 3799.52 m2. The data indicates that the new river channel has reduced storage capacity, so it is necessary to plan a new river channel thus it can accommodate discharge as well as old river channel storage capacity, or more. The increase in capacity was carried out by making dikes in flooded areas, the results of modeling with return period T = 50 years.
