Summary:An apartment is planned to be constructed in Alam Sutera, Tangerang City. Initially, the construction of the apartment is based on the drawings which is proposed by the architect. The challanges for the civil engineer is to design the method and components of the structure to be more economic and ensure the stability of the apartment. In construction management, there are two major aspects which need to be planned which are installation of skybridge and also construction of basement. The installation of skybridge is planned to use hydraulic jack. Later on the construction process, the bridge will be segmented into 3 parts which include 2 parts of side bridge which later are going to be constructed on the elevation of 44,5 meter and 1 part of middle bridge which later is going to be constructed on the ground level and going to be pulled by hydraulic jack to elevation 44,5 meter. During the design process, ETABS will be used to design the connection between the middle bridge and hydraulic jack and also to design stell tendon as a reinforcement for the side skybridge. As for the construction of basement, there are mainly three jobs which are the job of dewatering, determining duration of basement construction and also the method of lifting the mini excavator from elevation minus 13 meter to ground level. Rectangular section is used as drainage channel in order to simplify the construction method of drainage. As for the job of dewatering, it is planned to use automatic submersible pump from Tsurumi type KTVE 33.7 which has the capacity of flor 600 litre/minutes for 15 m head capacity. As for the basement construction, the ordinary method of slices will be used to consider the slope stability. As for the heavy equipment of mini excavator Komatsu PC 100-6 will be carried out by crawler crane Kobelco CKE 1350
