Summary: | Management of housing facilities is one of the efforts to ensure a decent living
environment. Management of housing facilities starts with the development
process undertaken by the developer. As a public good, local governments have
an obligation to ensure the availability of PSU housing for their communities.
Thus, after the construction progresses, the developers are required to submit their
PSU housing to the local government. West Bandung district itself with the legal
basis that has been owned, which are perda and perbup, but the achievement of
delivery of PSU housing only amounted to three housing from a total of one
hundred and thirteen housing. Based on this issue, the purpose of this research is
to formulate the proposed procedures for the management of PSU housing in
West Bandung district by considering the problems that occur.
This research used qualitative research method with descriptive analysis.
Informants in this research were selected by using nonprobability sampling
technique (purposive sampling). The data collection in this research used
interview technique, documentation study and observation. This research has
several targets such as: PSU Housing management procedure in accordance with
permendagri, problems that occur in the management of PSU housing using
comparative analysis techniques, aspects considered in the management of PSU
housing as well as the role of each actor involved in the management of housing
PSU in West Bandung district.
The results of this research indicate that there are still many problems that inhibit
the management of PSU housing in West Bandung district. Some of these
problems are among actors who have not run their roles optimally, the rules of
submission of PSU housing has not been applied optimally, and coordination
between actors involved has not been well established. Thus the procedure of
managing the PSU housing needs to be adjusted. One of them is by conducting
the process of handling the PSU housing administrative in the early stages of
