The assessment process often uses game as a tool to make the process more active, goal-oriented and could give a direct feedback. Unfortunately, there is no mechanism that could give a dynamic content inside the game suitable with the student’s skill based on the assessment result. This thesis uses evidence from an assessment process designed using ECD on Dynamic Difficult Adjustment (DDA) to create a dynamic game content suitable with the student’s skill based on the result of assessment process. The first step is to design student’s skill assessment process using ECD. This assessment consists of defining student’s skill, defining parameter to represent the student’s skill and define the task to gain the value of each parameter. Those parameters and tasks define by ECD will become attribute inside the developed game. The second step is to design the game and dynamization process based on ECD’s design. And our last step is to define the value used for creating a dynamic content and applied the mechanism inside the game. We test our system using two kinds of testing. The first test is done to measure the performance of functions applied in the game, while the second test is done to measure the performance of the dynamic mechanism and also player’s motivation on playing the game. The result of our test showed that all the function applied in the game worked perfectly and the game also has a good dynamic mechanism with winning rate value of 67%. The students who were participated in the test also find the game to be fun and the dynamic content inside the game motivate them to learn using the game. text |
