The total waste produced by Cimahi City consists of 51% of the organic waste, 27% of the inorganic waste and 22% of the residual waste. It is possible to estimate the amount of organic waste in Cimahi City to be more dominant compared to other waste compositions. However, this condition is not accompanied by good management of organic waste. So to overcome this condition, a solution was made by building an Organic Waste Processing Center (POO) as an organic scale waste processing center in Cimahi City which would receive excess payment of organic waste from the market which included the largest contributor of organic waste in Cimahi City. The POO facility will be built on the Leuwigajah ex-landfill. The current traditional markets waste generation in Cimahi City is 13.15 tons / day and based on the results of the sampling, 79% of it is leftover food and vegetable waste. The characteristics of food and vegetable waste are 85% of water content, 88% of volatile content and 18,3 of C / N ratio. Processing facilities provided by POOs are provided by manufacturers that contain the amount needed for the whole food coffers. Then, food and vegetable waste main processing facilities is anaerobic digester processing technology and sludge processing that comes from digester are using sludge drying bed. Furthermore, there are also supporting facilities such as offices, guard posts, parking areas, toilets, etc. text
