Summary:Bandung had officially earned the title of Creative City and Culinary City back in 2015. The title of Creative City was given by UNESCO Creative Cities Network. UNESCO officially announced Bandung as a part of the network in design category. While the title of Culinary City was given by Indonesia Ministry of Tourism. Although Bandung is proven well known for its’ culinary, these glorious titles become an irony when we look at the local snacks sold as Bandung’s authentic souvenirs, looking plain. This doesn’t really showcase Bandung’s identity as a design city. A creatively designed packaging of Bandung’s local snacks will properly showcase Bandung’s identity as Creative City and Culinary City.
