Description
Summary:Electrical energy is very important for human life today. Over time, the human population continues to increase. This increase in the human population has resulted in increase demand for electricity. Renewable Energy is the best solution to replace resources for the generation of electricity replacing fossil energy which is depleted time by time. Indonesia is a country with one of the largest population in the world. With the increase in population, of course electricity demand will increase. At present, there are 12,659 villages in Indonesia that have not yet getiing electricity. One of the causes is due to the geological conditions of the area, making it difficult to supply electrical energy to these areas. Jifak Village, Asmat Regency, Papua, is one of the areas that has not yet been electrified. According to the electricity infrastructure development plan, Asmat regency for several years later still havent show on the list. Renewable Energy is a solution to overcome the problem of electricity in this village. For this reason a hybrid generator system is needed by using renewable energy in remote areas. For this reason, it is important to mapping the renewable energy resources from Jifak Village to determine the right generator. By using HOMER Pro, with HOMER Pro, a plant construction study was carried out using PV-Generators for communal loads of 20 kWh and administrative loads of 11 kWh. The results of this study are configurations that allow it to be applied in Jifak Village by observing economic parameters in the form of LCOE values and observing and comparing the work system of the possible configurations.
