This research aims to identify risk factors that cause cost overrun in national road infrastructure project and analyze those risk factors to get significant risks that cause cost overrun based on contractor perspective. This research methodology based on qualitative and quantitative analysis that requires data from study literature, quizionaire, and interview. Results of this research show that there are 50 risk factors causing cost overrun where in it 8 significant risks that occur in research object. furthermore, this research shows that the impact of significant risks cost overrun of total cost project are 4,159% mean, 4,047% minimum, and 4,511% maximum. therefore, there are few jobs that have high sensitivity towards cost overrun project because of significant risks. Those jobs should be more profesionally managed because those jobs can give highly impact for total cost overrun project.
