Gading Serpong Senior Residence will be a living facility for active and independent elderly. It is conceptually different from Retirement Homes or Nursing House in Indonesia. In a way that this facility does not have a specialized Treatment and Theraphy facility for elderly, and does not provide Personal Assistance services for the residents. Gading Serpong Senior Residence is designed as a form of real estate with ‘livelier’ atmosphere for elderly. Beside it’s focus on creating a decent housing for elderly that met the standards, the selling point of this complex is in it’s capability to facilitate variety of lifestyle desired by the elder, and also the chance for elderly to build their own community without being excluded from outside. Making the residents as the owner of the house, this complex is a promising investation material, moreover with it’s location in the heart of Tangerang City. This Complex consists of two main zone, the residential zone, and commercial zone. The site is located in Gading Serpong, Tangerang, right in the east side of Bethsaida Hospital. The residential complex is ±16 000 sqm, with total of 3 towers, 7 levels, 230 units, and 460 estimated residents. The main target of the complex is high class economic senior citizen. The residential complex has the main concept of Micro and Macro Community and explicitly green with backyard in each unit, as well as several green zone like park and garden to increase the living environment quality. Meanwhile the commercial zone itself located on the ground floor, right below the residential building. The commercial zone is ± 3000 sqm that consists of retails, and supermart. It’s expected to produce more profit, and also creating a chance for the residents to meet new people every single day.
