Description
Summary:Energy Saving Solar Lights, which is one of the government's programs in responding to pre-electrification problems, especially in the 3T area in Indonesia, are not going well. The LTSHE system that has been distributed to all corners of the country has several shortcomings that make it difficult for users to operate it. The efficiency of battery life is the biggest problem in this program. The control system that is done manually during this time makes the user not accustomed to always change the intensity of the lamp according to the time specified. This study has a focus on designing the design of the LTSHE control system that has automatic control. The control system runs with a current limiting method. In addition to designing, this study will also prototype the system. Simulation of the control system uses PSIM and Proteus software to get maximum results. The microcontroller used in this study is ATmega328 due to its easy use. This research is expected to be mass-produced and increase the efficiency of LTSHE and meet key energy needs by utilizing renewable energy by 23% by 2025. From the experiments carried out, the results was in accordance with the simulations and calculations carried out.
