INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/40057 Naturall Fractured Reservoirs (NFR) as one of the biggest hydrocarbon reserves in the world that has been observed since long time ago. Naturally fractured reservoirs are defined as reservoir where fractures created by geological process have a significant impact on the migration, storage, and extraction of hydrocarbons on reservoirs. In the past half century, the study about fluid flow and transport processes in fractured porous media has received great attention on oil and gas world. This study has a purpose to make reservoir model with numerical method simulator that can be representate the Naturally Fractured Reservoirs (NFR) by comparing the result of Pressure Transient Behavior analysis from analytical and numerical simulator, so the result from Naturally Fracture Reservoirs numerical model can be used to history matching process. Permeability, skin, and radius of boundary reservoir. The study started by constructing syntethic reservoir model by the numerical simulator by input the reservoir, rock, and fluid characteristics. Using the pressure build up testing priciple, pressure over time data can be obtained. Pressure over time data can be used to do diagnostic plot thus the result of pressure transient behavior can be compared with test data by analytical simulator. This study divided by two cases. Where on the first case, synthetic model cannot be modified in the other hand, second case has been modified by wellbore storage and skin effect. The result of the study is that after comparing the value of pressure transient behavior from analytical and numerical simulator, the writer conclude that the model should be modified further by adding wellbore storage and skin effect to the Naturally Fracture Reservoir model so that the reservoir model can illustrate the real Naturally Fracture Reservoir. text
