Description
Summary:PT Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) develops this resort villa located in The Cultural Village district. The developing of this 5-star luxury resort is by request of a client of BITA Enarcon Engineering J.V. Egis International Indonesia. Based on the masterplan planned by BITA, this area is located at Zone I of Mandalika Resort that adopts the concept of Luxury Residences. This idea will further guide the whole concept development applied to the design. The architect brought three main issues to solve on the design, which are luxury, prime, and cultural. Surrounded by breathtaking quadrado vista, this resort is an ultimate hideaway for anybody seeking refuge from mundane city routine. The site is where the hills and the beaches collide together. There are 20 villa units, 2 presidential residences, a world-class restaurant, a lagoon-side café with a rooftop, spa cottages, and a boutique and shop. The lobby building and the world-class restaurant are chosen to be the icon of the resort which bear the very concept of Lombok architecture. Both buildings are designed gigantic shaded by a wooden-exposed traditional roofing of Lombok. Maintaining the accurate proportion of Lombok traditional houses, these icons become the face of the resort. The two are standing tall at 2 strategic spots within the area which are enjoyed by overnight visitors or daytime visitors. In addition to the architecture, the resort provides a rooftop café for visitors to enjoy sightseeing the sunrise and sunset at maximum potential.
