INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/40296 Interaction between cities and regions can influence economic progress and increase population mobility. Jakarta - Bandung is an area that has strong interactions, thus creating large mobility between the two regions. This mobility needs to be supported by a good and adequate transportation system. Inter-city Inter-Provincial Bus Transportation (AKAP) Jakarta majors - Bandung and vice versa is one type of transportation that serves the route. The existence of this transportation mode becomes an important alternative for groups of people who have reciprocal economic activities in Jakarta-Bandung, but the movement from Jakarta - Bandung or vice versa is currently ineffective because of the travel time of the Jakarta route - quite long ± 4-5 hours even more at certain times. Related to this, there are indications of a change in public perceptions in usin g AKAP bus services in the Jakarta - Bandung route, which has led to a decrease in the number of passengers which has resulted in a decrease in the number of AKAP bus operators. Based on this background, this study aims to find out how the perception of users of transportation services on AKAP bus transportation services in Jakarta -Bandung route and the factors that influence it from existing conditions and from the changes in services offered. This study uses quantitative methods with data analysis methods using binary logistic regression models. The results of this study indicate that several factors that influence the decrease in the number of passengers seen from the intensity of use of the modal consists of gender, travel costs, travel time, security in the bus. While the probability of AKAP bus users to continue to use the AKAP bus mode is 11.90% and the probability of AKAP bus users to switch to other modes is 88.10%. text
