Summary: | Company ABC is a private company established in August 2014. Company ABC found by 3 people who are a
best friend at that time. This business working on the fast-food sector based in Bandung. Currently, Company
ABC located in Tubagus Ismail Street, one of the strategic places in Bandung and is processing expanding the
business in Jakarta. The issues occur when the company does not have a good internal management system
which also supported by the implementation of hands-on management style which leads the employees are
dependable on the management team and create an overlapping job. Besides that, the company also has no clear
vision, mission and formulated job description. Based on the issue, this research aims to reveal: (1) Organization
effectiveness of the company. (2) the implementation of change management in the Company.
The research using The Star Model to identify organization effectiveness. Because to pursue organization
effectiveness, the organization design must have an alignment of five critical things which are strategy,
structure, reward, process, and people. This research uses two major data collection (1) primary data, which is
collected by interview using semi-structured question, and discussion. (2) secondary data, which is collected
from organization documents and websites.
After identifying organization effectiveness, researcher finds out that the organization hasn’t performed
effectively because there’re still many improvements need to be applied. Therefore, the implementation of
organization change management is needed. The framework of the organization change management uses
Kotter’s Change Management offers a helpful structure for structuring and implementing changes in a
comparatively tiny department and gives an effective communication plan. The researcher also proposed a
recommendation by establishing an implementation plan for the company to maintain the changes on the track
and get done by the whole company’s members. |
