At present, PT AP II operates 16 airports include Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (IATA: CGK, ICAO: WIII), has significantly growth of aircraft movements in 2018. In 2018, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport noted the aircraft movement reached 463.068 movements, which from 365.428 of domestic aircraft movements and 97.640 international aircraft movements. In general, the aircraft movement in 2018 grew by 4% from 2017. Entering 2019, the condition of passenger and aircraft movements at Soekarno-Hatta Airport has decreased compared to 2018. Monthly data shows that the decline in aircraft movements at Soekarno-Hatta has reached -18% while for passenger movements -22%, compared to 2018. Analyzed their demand shock of airport passenger to know the impact of demand shock and the relations to the current plans (runway 3 expansions) and what things should be done by the airport management to deal with the problem. Using PESTEL analysis, since the planning and projections for the construction of the third runway in 2015. Throughout 2015 to 2018, the appropriateness of the projections with the realization tends to be precise even the realization exceeds projections in 2017 and 2018. The decline in demand compared to the projected development of the third runway occurs in 2019. The majority began with competition from airlines which affected the ticket price competition. The impact of the decline was -15 percent from realization of the projected number of passengers during the third runway planning. Corporate strategy, business strategy and functional strategy support to implements the aerotropolis concept at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. It is estimated that in 2025 has reached a point where what is projected during the construction of third runway is equivalent to the passenger projection when implementing aerotropolis concept. text |
