The main consumers of this company are government projects, but some projects are obtained from private companies. PT. Solarens Ledindo is engaged in manufacturing, of course, its business operations are the main thing, starting from the process of bringing in raw materials, processing them, to delivering to consumers. However, the management of raw materials in the company's warehouse is not good enough, this is very evident from the company's financial statements, that every year its inventory assets always increase, but its inventory turnover is not balanced with the addition of its inventory assets. It is also known from the financial statements that the value of the deadstock inventory reaches Rp1.6 billion, this deadstock inventory is dominated by trading items by 83%. The root cause current reality tree analysis method is used to identify the problem. From the analysis conducted, it can be seen that the root of this problem is due to the absence of a special department that handles inventory and production planning, usually this department is called the PPIC. This department is very important for companies engaged in manufacturing because one of their tasks is to forecast products using methods that are in line with the character demands of each product and determine inventory policies so that ordering of raw materials can be more efficient. Forecasting methods used for each product are different, this happens because the pattern of demand for each product is also different. The selection of the most appropriate method based on the smallest MAD (Absolute Deviation Median) error calculation of each forecasting method used. For all products using the same method, namely the winter model method, because all the patterns are the same, which is seasonal and has a tendency. From the results of the analysis based on the characteristics of the material in the company, then an appropriate model is determined as Q-Model, because the material character has a high price, and is material with the latest technology, so supervision must be carried out carefully. As a result of this research, PT. Solarens Ledindo added a new department that specifically handles production planning and inventory control so that the management of goods in the future will be more efficient. The PPIC department can also implement the recommendations of forecasting methods and inventory policy methods that have been proposed by the authors. text
