Summary: | Kepulauan Seribu District is a part of National's Strategic Tourism Region, which
was being explained in DKI Jakarta's Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD
DKI Jakarta) along with their priority development plans with small island section,
including Tidung Island. Tourism that took place in small islands cannot be
materialized without adequate infrastructures that can support tourism activities.
The poor condition of Tidung Island's infrastructure needs a suffice development to
help support an optimal condition as one of national's tourism destination. In
consequence, evaluation process is much needed to see the actual condition of
tourism infrastructure that Tidung Island have. This study revolves around the
appropriateness of basic infrastructures that tourism components need (attraction,
amenities, and accessibility) based on standards and criteria that came from literate
studies, considering Indonesia's national standard in small island infrastructure is
not yet being made. The approach used in this study is normative approach to help
decide some indicators that needs to be fulfilled. Content analysis, descriptive
analysis, and pseudo evaluation method are used for this study. The outcome of this
study proved that Tidung Island's tourism infrastructure is appropriate enough with
the percentage of 51,66%, where attraction is not appropriate enough with the
percentage of 43,34%, amenities is appropriate enough with the percentage of
56,75%, and accessibility is appropriate enough with the percentage of 54,89%. |
