Tourism that took place in small islands cannot be materialized without adequate infrastructures that can support tourism activities. The poor condition of Tidung Island's infrastructure needs a suffice development to help support an optimal condition as one of national's tourism destination. In consequence, evaluation process is much needed to see the actual condition of tourism infrastructure that Tidung Island have. This study revolves around the appropriateness of basic infrastructures that tourism components need (attraction, amenities, and accessibility) based on standards and criteria that came from literate studies, considering Indonesia's national standard in small island infrastructure is not yet being made. The approach used in this study is normative approach to help decide some indicators that needs to be fulfilled. Content analysis, descriptive analysis, and pseudo evaluation method are used for this study. The outcome of this study proved that Tidung Island's tourism infrastructure is appropriate enough with the percentage of 51,66%, where attraction is not appropriate enough with the percentage of 43,34%, amenities is appropriate enough with the percentage of 56,75%, and accessibility is appropriate enough with the percentage of 54,89%. text |
