Summary: | The implementation of learning, research, innovation, and community service requires good academic staff. One of the strategic issues in the ITB Strategic Plan for 2016-2020 is to increase human resources in the academic staff development program for professors and associate professors. The problem experienced in the development of academic careers today is that the use of existing information resources is not optimal so that it cannot produce new knowledge on a regular basis so that it can support stakeholders in making strategic decisions related to the academic promotion process at the faculty / school they lead.
By using the Design Science Research Method (DSRM) method, The stages of this research are carried out by determining research problems, applying information management with a business intelligence approach, so as to produce an information presentation design including data analysis, information content, and information reformulation that illustrates patterns of interrelation, connecting the substance of each data from various sources to become a design that can describe information and prediction of research performance to support the development of lecturers' academic careers to ensure equilibrium of the number and competence of lecturers.
In this study the testing process was carried out with expert justification consisting of management level, operational level, and IT expert level, in general getting a value of 4.56 which on a Likert scale means "very good". This shows that the application of the management research information management design of the lecturer is able to produce relevant research performance information, and can provide more value to support the strategic plan of the college and ease the process of developing the academic career of the lecturer. |
