Description
Summary:Over the last few years, online crowdfunding has become one of the most popular social phenomena in Indonesia. Despite it being very popular, the donor retention or the likeliness of a donor to keep on using the service for the long term is only around 22%, caused by the unique characteristics and certain behaviors in using crowdfunding applications. Therefore, an interaction design that eases the donors to go through the donation process is needed by using the user-centered design (UCD) approach. This final report undertakes a series of observation on Kitabisa mobile application as its study case. The main goal of this final report is to publish a mobile application interaction design that facilitates the donors to successfully and continuously donate and to review the design evaluation. The outcome of this final report is mid-fidelity prototype for Android. The outcome of the design evaluation shows that the usability and user experience rating has exceeded the standard rating. However, continuous improvement is always needed to make sure the interaction design of crowdfunding mobile applications always answer the need of their donors.
