Summary: | The soil improvement design carried out in this final project is a part of soil improvement project for the harbour stockyard owned by PT. Krakatau Steel. The type of soil improvement for this project is soil reinforcement with grout modular column. Soil improvement in this area is intended to prevent the stacker and reclaimer structure from damage due to soil settlement caused by embankment loading. The soil improvement category classified as domain 1 and domain 2 which are intended for settlement reducer and increase bearing capacity of soil. The process of design and analysis using Plaxis 2017 software. The types of analysis applied in this final project include analysis of static conditions (without earthquakes) and dynamic conditions (with earthquakes). The material model used in Plaxis 2017 software for modelling grout modular column (KGM) is embedded beam row. The design criteria for designing process made by PT. Krakatau Steel. |
