EVALUATION OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES PRODUCTION COSTS OF DAMRI TRANS BANDUNG RAYA BUS (CASE STUDY : DIPATIUKUR – LEUWIPANJANG CORRIDOR)

The transportation services production costs are the total costs incurred for the process of providing transportation services. This costs are different with the vehicle operating costs. The transportation services production costs for Damri Trans Bandung Raya Bus, Dipatiukur – Leuwipanjang corridor has several components such as direct fixed costs, direct variable costs, indirect fixed costs, and indirect variable costs. There are several parts of direct variable costs that are sensitive to the fluctuation of dollar exchange rate and affect the transportation services production costs. In this study, besides evaluating the transportation services production costs based on the field data, it will also evaluating the transportation services production costs based on market price data for the period of June 2019, January 2019, and October 2018 which refers to the fluctuation dollar exchange rate in that period. It was found that the amount of the transportation services production costs for the field data is Rp. 13.862,92 / bus-km and for the market prices data for the period of June 2019, January 2019, and October 2018 each is equal to Rp. 14.013,16 / bus-km, Rp. 13.987,56 / bus-km, dan Rp. 14.260,25 / bus-km. It was also found that not all components of transportation services production costs have changed in line with the fluctuation dollar exchange rate.
