Papaya leaves have been proven to have activity in reducing levels of plasma lipid in blood of animals, while coconut is believed to increase levels of plsma lipid, especially cholesterol and triglycerides, so people are often reluctant to consume foods that contain coconut, especially coconut milk because it can increase cholesterol and triglycerides. Therefore, the study was conducted about the effect of giving papaya leaves and coconut meat and their combination in reducing levels of plasma lipid in blood of animals. Methode: The aim was to do with a preventive method using high cholesterol diet induce which is contained of high-fat feed and CCT (Cholesterol, Cholic acid and Tiouracil) for 60 days accompanied with simvastatin 1.8 mg / kg BW and papaya leaf juice and coconut meat juice. Doses of papaya leaf juice and coconut meat juice are divided into 2 doses each including a combination dose. Lipid profile were measured enzymatically on days 0, 30th and 60th using microlab 300. At the 60th animals were sacrificed and aortic and liver organs were collected for histopathology. Result: The results showed that giving a single coconut meat juice with a dose 5g/Kg BW and 10 g/Kg BB can reduce blood lipid levels but its activity is not as good as giving a single papaya leaf juice with a dose 10 g/kg body weight and 20 g/kg body weight. After being evaluated, a combination of papaya leaf juice and coconut meat juice can reduce blood lipid levels with a dose 10 g papaya leaf : 5 g coconut meat/Kg BB and 20 g papaya leaf : 10 g coconut meat/Kg BB and is comparable to the Simvastatin. Conclusion: It can be concluded that urap is a healthy food for people with dyslipidemia, even though it contains coconut, there is no need to worry about an increase levels of plasma lipid during consumption combined with papaya leaves. text
