| Summary: | Transportation plays a role in the continuity of human life. Along with advances in
technology and information, online transportation services have emerged as one of
the modes of transportation of choice in the city of Bandung. With the operation of this
online transportation mobility options for individuals, including students will be
increasingly diverse. To be able to find out how much influence this online
transportation requires consideration of the factors that influence the use of online
transportation modes. Information on the factors of using online transportation modes
is known from students of online transportation users in the Bandung Ganesha
Institute of Technology. Students of transportation users who have relatively short
travel characteristics have the least travel intensity, so there is a tendency that these
students will not use online mode again in the future. Additionally, students of online
transportation users judge that the benefits are most felt when using online
transportation is the convenience to get the online mode whenever and wherever, as
well as a shorter travel time which ultimately causes the user to arrive at their
destination in a timely manner. Factors that influence the selection of online
transportation modes are gender, and the frequency of using online transportation
modes in general, but the effect is not significant. Although the results of these
influential factors are not significant, knowing the factors that influence the use of
online transportation modes can be taken into consideration for many parties to
perfect each other both from products and policies, and collaborate with each other
for the creation of an integrated transportation system. |
