This study aimed to access the level of HIV/AIDS knowledge among non-medical university students using HIV-KQ-45 scale and to create awareness by spreading knowledge regarding HIV/AIDS. A cross sectional study was conducted among 365 university students in Malaysia. The validated HIV-KQ-45 scale was used to measure ???¸±???? ?ð® ÿ????±¸ã±???¸±??» ?? ???ð??ð??? ?¸ ??±?±??ð???» :=?!=????. The study shows students have moderate knowledge level on general questions (55.01%), transmission (64.78%), and prevention (58.06%) regarding HIV/AIDS. Accounting for socio-demographics, higher age group, male post graduate students from engineering faculty associated with higher HIV/AIDS knowledge score. Total result shows there is significant difference of knowledge between gender (P=0.000) and age group (P=0.0045), and no significant difference between different level of education and faculties; among genders, there is significant difference in general knowledge (P=0.000), transmission (P=0.004) and prevention (P=0.000). HIV/AIDS knowledge among age group shows significant difference on transmission (P=0.024) part and no difference in general knowledge and prevention part.
