Summary:The Culinary franchise business is now a trend and developing rapidly in Indonesia and become a choice for novice people in business to start the business. Nevertheless, this situation demonstrates a different perspective for the entrepreneurs who want to bequest for business growth and distribution purposes. Therefore, the characteristics of the franchise that attract the customer's attention should be explained to provide accurate and reliable data that can be used by franchisees. The purpose of this study was to find the factor that drove potential franchisees to buy a franchise business and suggested Republik Bakso Okay franchise in order to grow the business through franchising strategy. The authors compiled data from the 60 potential franchisees and some of the owners of the franchise as the preferred respondent. The research methods used are Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and in-depth interviews, as well as conducting review journals and literature to support the relevant statement. The results showed that the marketing and character aspects of the franchisee were two factors that positively and significantly influence the potential franchisee decision to buy a franchise venture. Developing Franchise of the Republik Bakso Okay is through two stages with a focus on strategy location-based positioning, positive profitability investment indicator, flexibility principal-agent relation, and total quality control.
