Summary: | <b>Abstract :</b><p align=\"justify\"> The aim of this final assignment is to discuss the development of performance appraisal system on PD Kerta Karkim Bandung. due to the current appraisal system applied is considered to be unadvantageous to the company as well as to the employees. The prime cause of the currently applied unadvantegeous appraisal system is the lack of sound appraisal standard reference and unrelevant performance appraisal criterion to the routine. <br />
Things that determine whether on appraisal program would be of beneficial or not are consists of (1).the applied appraisal system. (2). the applied appraisal design and method, (3). The relationship of the involved people in the appraisal method. <br />
The development of performance appraisal system is commenced by analyzing the job discription and followed by the selection of appraisal factors. The particular appraisal factor are then arranged in a hierarchy structure to determine the weight by implementing \"analysis of hierarchy process\". The weighting analysis has to be done in order to lead the employees\' behavior to the aimed target that would be reached by the management. The final step is the appraisal method development. included the appraisal design planning. The implemented appraisal method is developed from the \"behaviorally anchored rating scales\" method, since this one has the ability to minimize the appraisal bias and more freferable by users. <br />
There are two kind of appraisal design, first of all is the appraisal to value group performance using yield oriented, and secondly, appraisal design to value individual performance using <br />
-process oriented. <br />
Thence, to motivated employees in enhancing the working performance, it is necessary to be followed by incentive program for working group which has over-the-average\'s performance. Method of the applied incentive is Rowan\'s method, where the sum of incentive is calculated from the reduced time percentage as compared to the standard time. |
