SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISE (UMKM) FINANCIAL PROBLEM SOLUTION BY IMPLEMENTING FINANCIAL ANALYSIS SOFTWARE PLATFORM (CASE: BANK BJB AND PEMPROV JABAR)

Ridwan Kamil as Governor of West Java (Pemprov Jabar) and major shareholder of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk (Bank BJB) have problems that related with each other. He contacted Dean of SBM ITB to ask for consultancy. Problems that needs to be solved by SBM ITB are increasing UMKM from across West Java performances and decreasing Bank BJB non-performing loans (NPL) caused by UMKM. The problems correlated with each other because Bank BJB NPL of UMKM (app. 23.03%) came from funds that allocated to UMKM to increase their performances. SBM ITB come up with the solutions which is developing financial software platform to increase financial literacy of UMKM and controlling their credits for Bank BJB. US Team, PT BISA, and SBM ITB delegations are parties who has direct contributions on solving those problems. US Team and PT BISA mainly focus on Banking needs while SBM ITB Delegations mostly focus on UMKM Needs. PT BISA already developed accounting system to gather financial data from UMKM and later will be made into Financial Statement of UMKM. Financial Statement of UMKM will filtered using Altman Z Scores, Financial Ratio Analysis, and US Index. Purposes on filtering process of Financial Statement from UMKM is to analyzed UMKM financial performances and credit analysis. This final project will be simulating using real financial data from UMKM (PT XYZ and PT ABC) and later will be compared and analyzed.
