Summary: | Competition in business today is very tight, this can be seen with the emergence of new businesses engaged in the same field. Along with changing times, technology, and lifestyle changes so that the type and level of human needs also increases. With the times and technology, many facilities can be obtained to meet the needs, one of which is a means of transportation. One means of transportation that is widely used by the people of Indonesia is a motorcycle. This has an impact on motorcycle sales that continue to increase every year. The biggest sales contribution is controlled by Honda motorcycles. PT Daya Anugrah Motor (Daya Motor) is one of the largest Honda motorcycle dealers and has spread throughout Indonesia.
The main problem at Daya Motor is employee turnover that often occurs. This is due to employee dissatisfaction with wages received. Lack of transparency and comparison to external companies is the reason employees are not satisfied with the wages received. In addition, workload that is not in accordance with the wages received by employees is the reason for this research. For this reason, a strategy for managing human resources is very important. Human capital management can manage human resources so that they can run effectively and efficiently so as to increase the company's competitiveness and increase company revenue.
This research uses quantitative research methods. The data used for analysis is job analysis data for all positions at the Daya Motor Head Office. To analyze the data obtained, this study uses descriptive analysis with job evaluation analysis. Job evaluation analysis using the point rating method using compensation factors that refer to the Spencer & Spencer dictionary of competence. The results of the job evaluation are the scores for each position. The value of this position is the basis for designing a new compensation system that suits the workload of the incumbent's employee. The results of this study are the design of a compensation system based on payment for positions that correspond to compensation issues at Daya Motor.
There are two strategies that can be done by Daya Motor to improve the company's compensation system, namely designing job evaluations and designing compensation systems. It aims to improve the performance of employees, retain employees, and improve the competitiveness of companies in the business world. Employees are expected to be able to create innovations and new ideas to increase company value.
