Despite the increase of storage capacity and the development of broadband networks, compression techniques are needed. Compared to still image compression, the challenge of video compression lies in an efficient reduction of temporal correlation. This thesis studies video compression by using motion estimation log-2D algorithm for the purpose of reducing temporal correlation and processing time of video coding. <br /> text
