For the years, utilization of Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) has only become fertilizer. Besides that, there are other potential benefits such as renewable energy, carbon reduction to reduce global warming by methane capture, and efficiency of production costs. This research used quantitative approaches with primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from field observations, projection estimation, on-site measurement, direct interviews with operational respondent, and brainstorming. Secondary data were obtained from literary study, scientific journals, technical reports from related institutions, and research institutions. Aneka Bisnis Sawit (ABS) is one of the largest palm oil company in Indonesia. In Central Kalimantan, ABS has a land concession area of 34.150 hectares with the yield of fresh fruit bunches of 1.332.783 tons / year. It means palm oil production yields up to 339.859 tons / year and palm kernel oil to 85.298 tons / year. Therefore, the potential methane gas that can be produced is 3.960.000 Nm3 / year. With this potential, the potential electricity that can be generated reaches 2.88 Megawatt. ABS plans to build Biogas Power Plant in Semalam Mill (SMLM) that can supply electricity for operational and non-operational needs in 3 factories which are SMLM, Setrum Mill (SRUM), and Tangi Mill (TNGM). Any excess electricity will be sold to PLN through excess power contract scheme and distributed to housing of PT ABS employees in surrounding of those factories. According to Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No. 19 Year 2017 about purchasing excess power for South and Central Kalimantan is 70% from local BPP or Rp 1145. Therefore, PLN purchase price reaching 802 IDR / kWh. ABS's revenue potential can reach IDR 11,910 billion / year from selling to PLN, in terms of economic feasibility of biogas analysis NPV investment of IDR 85,636 billion, with an interest rate of 10%, IRR of 26.95 % and DPP 5.82 years. text
