Summary: | Employee engagement to increase knowledge is one of the success factors in improving
employee performance. However, many conditions cause employees to be less interested in
self-study by reading before finding problems. This happened at least in the employment
service activities at Regional Office XII BKN. The limited budget for conducting training and
the absence of official discussion media as a place for learning between officers and leaders
can be one reason. Recommendations on learning with a 3D multi-user virtual learning
environment can be a solution for learning in the workplace.
This study adopts the DRM (Design Research Methodology) methodology which includes
four stages of research: 1) Clarification of research; 2) Descriptive study I; 3) Study
instructions; and 4) Descriptive study II. The system is made based on the applicable
provisions concerning management asn. The system is made by following the ADDIE
instructional design for the learning design
Evaluation uses the first two levels of Kirkpatrick's evaluation model, i.e. evaluation of
reactions and evaluation of learning. Evaluation of reactions is measured uses TAM
(Technology Acceptance Model), where the proposed system can be accepted by the users
and positively impact on the implementation into the daily work. Evaluation of learning uses
statistical tests, i.e. paired wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test |
