Two types of starch were used, pure starch and plasticized starch (PLST). Hyamine was used as a surfactant. Five types of blends were examined: LLDPE-starch-hiamin (BO), LLDPE-starch-hiamin-CeSt3 (B1), LLDPE-PLST-hiamin-CeST3 (B2), LLDPE-PLST-CeSt3 (B3), and LLDPE-CeST3 (B4). The composition of polyblend were starch or PLST 20%, hyamine 2%, and CeSt3 0.3% based upon total weight of polyblend. Polyblends were irradiated for 8, 15, and 21 days. The results indicated that CeSt3 accelarated photodegradation of the polyblends whereas starch, PLST, and hyamine inhibited them. Processes as crosslinking and chain scission occur during irradiation. After 21 days irradiation, all polyblends had been photodegradated.<p align="justify"> <br /> text
