| Summary: | <b>Abstract :</b><p align=\"justify\">Therapeutical effectivity and serum level of generic and patent tablets of carbamazepine have been compared on one hundred epileptic patient having certain criteria, i. e. age, liver and kidney functions as well as leucocyte number. The therapeutical effectivity test was carried out by Frocher methods fifty patient were given a single dose of the generic tablet and another fifty patients the patent tablet. Result showed that the therapeutical effectivity and serum level of both tablets had no significant difference (P > 0,05). Bioavailability and pharmacokinetic profile of both types of tablet, tested on six healthy volunteers showed no significant difference (P > 0,05). |
