| Summary: | Key center is one of the characters of a song. Determining the key center by using music theories is certainly a common thing to do. In this final project, the key center that is known in music will be modeled using a method called linear transformation.
Tones played in a song will be presented in the form of a vector which will then be mapped by the transformation matrix. Then the value of infinity norm of the vector mapped by the transformation matrix will be calculated to determine the key center of the song being analyzed. This method will be applied to several songs that will be analyzed with the aim to test the accuracy of the results from the method used. |
