One solution is the pre-electrification program which was launched in 2017 by providing Energy Saving Solar Lamp (LTSHE). But there are some problems for LTSHE itself. Until now, LTSHE that has been distributed still uses manual control buttons to control the intensity of lamp and can cause some problems with the LTSHE system itself. The purpose of this final project research is to design an LTSHE control system to be controlled with current control so that it supports government programs related to increasing the electrification ratio by making LTSHE systems operate more efficiently. In this study, the need for LTSHE's daily load profile was increased to 80,8 Wh to suit the needs of the people in the field. LTSHE control system in this study uses a DC-DC converter circuit in the form of a step down (buck) converter. With simulations carried out using PSIM software, the LTSHE control system has been able to adjust the intensity of lamp (dimming) as expected using current control method. The LTSHE control system is also equipped with protection for the battery so as to avoid the battery from overdischarge. In this study, taking into account the losses of LED lamps and the efficiency of the converter, the total daily energy consumed by the battery is 98,23 Wh. text |

Indonesia as one of the largest archipelago countries in the world, still faces
electrification problems due to geographical reasons. One solution is the pre-electrification
program which was launched in 2017 by providing Energy Saving Solar Lamp (LTSHE). But
there are some problems for LTSHE itself. Until now, LTSHE that has been distributed still
uses manual control buttons to control the intensity of lamp and can cause some problems with
the LTSHE system itself. The purpose of this final project research is to design an LTSHE
control system to be controlled with current control so that it supports government programs
related to increasing the electrification ratio by making LTSHE systems operate more
efficiently. In this study, the need for LTSHE's daily load profile was increased to 80,8 Wh to
suit the needs of the people in the field. LTSHE control system in this study uses a DC-DC

equipped with protection for the battery so as to avoid the battery from overdischarge. In this
