Phytochemical study of a green algae, Caulerpa sertularioides (Vahl) C. Agardh, Caulerpaceae had been carried out. Five compounds were isolated from n-hexane extract, i.e. caulerpin, ?-sitosterol, palmitic acid, and two compounds supposed to be a hydrocarbon and a steroid. From ethylacetate extract, caulerpin and cyclotetradecane were isolated. From methanol extract, caulerpin and one compound supposed to be an unsaturated hydrocarbon were isolated. From methylenechloridemethanol (1:1) extract, caulerpin was isolated. Bioassay using nauplii of Anemia sauna Leach showed LC50 values of methanol extract, n-hexane extract, ethylacetate extract, caulerpin, methylenechloride-methanol (1:1) extract and ?-sitosterol were 16,1, 87,6, 43,8, 367,8, 672.8 and 777.8 ppm, respectively. <br />
