From ethylacetate extract, caulerpin and cyclotetradecane were isolated. From methanol extract, caulerpin and one compound supposed to be an unsaturated hydrocarbon were isolated. From methylenechloridemethanol (1:1) extract, caulerpin was isolated. Bioassay using nauplii of Anemia sauna Leach showed LC<sub>50</sub> values of methanol extract, n-hexane extract, ethylacetate extract, caulerpin, methylenechloride-methanol (1:1) extract and ?-sitosterol were 16,1, 87,6, 43,8, 367,8, 672.8 and 777.8 ppm, respectively. <br /> text
