Description
Summary:The development of Patimban Port is the government's strategy to reduce excess capacity at Tanjung Priok Port which is the only International Port in Jakarta. Patimban Harbor will serve container types and vehicles transported using large vessels. In the Final Project case study on Design of Car Terminal Structure with Deck on Pile Type in Patimban, Subang, WestJava, the design of the berth structure will be discussed based on the design criteria used as a structural planning requirement by considering the existing conditions at the study site. The final project covers the determination of the berth layout, berth dimensions, structural modeling, and structural reinforcement design. Structural modeling is carried out using SAP2000 software to determine the structural reliability of plans for the load acting on the structure. The results of this modeling are UCR (Unity Check Ratio) value, structural deflection, the internal forces of beams and plates, and the placement reaction. Checking the UCR value is carried out as a reliable and optimal structure design reference with values in the range 0.8 to 1.0. Checking the deflection value is carried out as an aspect of the structure's serviceability, with the value below the permit limit. While the reinforcement ratio value check is performed to determine the optimal cross-sectional area. The results of the Final Project include the design of the berth layout, the design of the berth which includes the dimensions of the structure and dimensions of structural elements, and the reinforcement details based on the internal forces in work.
