One of the locations in the center of Bandung which is a tourist attraction as well as an economic center is Cibadak which is located in Karanganyar District. Similar to Bandung, the rate of population growth in that area also increases every year. This condition leads to the increase of the residential demand in Cibadak. Thus, vertical residence/ apartment then offered as the solution since it does not require much space that will be designed in this thesis as 2x8 Park Apartment Project of Cibadak Area in Bandung. From basement to podium floors, it is planned to use precast slabs with additional cast in situ slabs in several locations. The scope of this thesis generally covers: design of precast slabs which includes dimension, reinforcement, and connection; planning of construction method of the precast slabs; and do a cost comparison analysis between precast slabs and if cast in situ slabs are used throughout the floors. The type of precast slab used is Hollow Core Slab with thickness of 150 mm, 50 mm thick overtopping, width varies between 1200 mm – 2000 mm, and length varies between 1600 mm – 7625 mm. The reinforcement used in the precast slabs is non-prestressed reinforcement while the connection uses a wet connection. The construction method of the precast slabs includes: fabrication, transportation, and installation. The cost requires for the construction of precast slabs system on Basement 1st floor, Podium 1st floor, and Podium 2nd floor is Rp. 4,608,443,554 or 36.22% smaller compared to if the entire floor uses cast in situ slabs. text |
