The Province of West Java stipulates 6 Development Areas (WP) in the West Java Province’s 2009-2039 RTRW. One of the development areas that is interesting to be reviewed in the scope of regional and city planning study is WP Ciayumajakuning because the conditions of regional development that are classified as the lowest among all WPs and WP Ciayumajakuning's position which is directed to be driven but at the same time its development must be controlled. Urban development in the scope of WP raises the need to control the development in order to avoid environmental imbalances. Urban development is elaborated through the dynamics of development consisting of physical, economic, and population changes while the component of environmental support can be seen through determining the status of carrying capacity of the environment (DDL). The aim of this study is to identify the status and spatial patterns of the dynamics of urban development in WP Ciayumajakuning and their effects on the carrying capacity of agricultural land. This study will use the sub-district analysis unit at WP Ciayumajakuning, with the amount of 153 using secondary data collection. The analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis, land carrying capacity analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, spatial autocorrelation analysis, and overlay analysis. This study found that there was a concentration of urban development in the northern part of WP Ciayumajakuning with Cirebon City as the core of development both in terms of physical, economic, and population followed by the classification of low carrying capacity of agricultural land in the City of Cirebon, Eastern Part of Cirebon Regency, and Western part of Kuningan Regency. Spatial autocorrelation analysis found that positive autocorrelation or cluster spatial patterns occurred in 15 districts for the rate of agricultural land acquisition, 13 districts for the rate of non-agricultural land growth, 41 districts for the rate of economic growth, 17 districts for the rate of population growth, and 31 districts for the decreasing of the carrying capacity of agricultural land. Analysis of the effect of urban development on the decreasing status of agriculutral land carrying capacity using the multiple regression equation found that non-agricultural land growth was the variable that most influenced the decrease in environmental carrying capacity by 0.697% followed by economic growth variable by 0.085%, while the analysis of influence through overlay found that there was a strong influence between the dynamics of urban development on a decrease in the carrying capacity of the environment as indicated by high consistency in 86 districts (56.20%).
