However, increased consumption of vegetables in Indonesia is not balanced with adequate amount of vegetable production to provide adequate needs. The problem will be solved with implementation of verticulture hydroponic system. The research aims to determine the influence of the use of growing media and nutrients volume to the parameters of leaf count, wet biomass and dried biomass consumption, chlorophyll levels, and anthocyanin levels of red lettuce plants. The research was conducted in the screen house B2 ITB Campus Jatinangor in December 2019 – February 2020. The research draft is done with a complete random design (RAL) factorial with 2 repeats consisting of two factors of treatment namely factors of type of growing media as much as 2 levels of peatmoss and rockwool, as well as the nutrient volume intake of 3 levels is 10.6 l/day, 31.8 l/day and 53 l/day. The data obtained is then analyzed descriptively and statistically using ANOVA Two Way with Replication at DMRT level of trust 95% (? = 0.05) and if there is a different influence conducted further test with DMRT method of trust level 95% (? = 0.05). The results showed that the results of the growth of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa var. crispa) planted in the best planting system namely treatment B1 (peatmoss planting media with the volume of nutrient feeding 10.6 l/day) provide the most excellent results for the number of leaf parameters of 6.13 strands and dry biomass headers of 1.20 gram, the treatment of B2 (peatmoss planting media with nutrient feeding volume 31.8 l/day) provides the best results for the header wet biomass parameters of 26.76 grams, and the treatment A1 (rockwool planting media with nutrient feeding volume 10.6 l/day) gives the best results for parameters of chlorophyll levels of 6.99 gram/L and anthocyanin levels of 31.98 mg/100gr. text
