Description
Summary:The Indonesian Culinary Museum is a cultural preservation project with the mission of educating and providing information about Indonesian culture that is fading to the nation's next generation. The project is assumed to be initiated by the Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture and will be built on an area of 9800 m2 in the central area of Jakarta with consideration of the mass target and ease of access. The museum is expected to not only tell history to the culture that was formed later, but will also accommodate community needs and provide a public place that can be used. With the construction of this museum, it is hoped that there will be an increase in awareness of the extinction of traditional culinary culture by designing buildings that can keep pace with current trends, environmentally friendly, provide a gathering place, and an interesting museum flow. The building is also expected to reflect the value of modern buildings in accordance with the times without leaving noble values in it.
