Revenue Management becomes an important and strategic tool for the airline to implement its strategy and to achieve the target revenue and profit. In order to accomplish the target, revenue management is required to make reasonable business decisions. There are times when airlines experience an opportunity loss for not utilizing their resources effectively to gain the optimum potential profit, thus incurring opportunity cost or failing to gain the potential profit that might have arisen due to the poorly made decisions. The accurate analysis and up-to-date information from the excellent data quality are essential in the decision-making process. Behavioral patterns of the customer are one of the analysis tools that is used in making a decision and become a valuable consideration for analysts while making the business decision. Qualitative research was conducted to find the constraint and insight in the decision making process. Applying the qualitative data result forces to implementing the big data and developing the data mining that beneficial to improve the decision making process. Both are important for company to maintain a long time sustainability and become strategic asset, it would make company lead the competition in the airline industry. text
