Description
Summary:The wide availability of computers in modern life has redefined the meaning of doing mathematics. We used to assume that human beings are the only ones doing mathematics. This is not the case anymore, since human beings can collaborate with computers or machines to do mathematics, like doing calculation. This new phenomenon makes mathematics solution not only readable by another human being but also by machines. Therefore, math solutions and arguments must be systematic, clear, and orderly. To create systematic, clear and orderly mathematics solution, human beings need to hone their thinking skills such as decomposition, inductive and deductive thinking, recognize pattern, construct procedure, evaluation, and self-reflection. Students can show their thinking skill mastery through performance task and self-assessment sheet. This project ends with a lesson design.
