The data collected is primary data acquired from the questionnaires that are filled out completely and directly by respondents. Qualitative data analysis for demographic data, knowledge, and smoking habits. Bivariate quantitative analysis uses the Tau-Kendall statistical method to see the significance, strength, and direction of the relationship between government policy in safeguarding cigarettes with respondents' smoking behavior. Cigarette security policies that can influence the behavior of active smokers are cigarette advertising and promotion policies (p = 0.002) and health information and warning policies (p = 0.03). Policies that influence the behavior of passive smokers are public service adverts policies (p = 0.011). text |
