The main function that will be accommodated in the design is a museum. The project location is on Jalan Pemuda, Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta. This project was initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture in collaboration with the private sector. The main target users are children and families as well as the linguistics and language professions. In this Indonesian Language Museum project, there are three main issues, namely image, urban context, and circulation. To respond to the issue of image, the form and organization of building spaces reflect aspects and developments of Indonesian Language. The second issue is the urban context, which is divided into issues of area active time, pollution, and site land regulations. To enliven the surrounding area, the building is made to have a longer open time and has functions that attract visitors to have activities outside. The pollution problem is solved by providing green open space near the road and tree vegetation along the edge of the land. Finally, a small KDB and a large KDH in the site area create a large remaining area for use as a park and amphitheater. The third issue is the issue of circulation. This problem was solved by designing the museum exhibition space with the division of each theme arranged so that there is flexibility in enjoying the museum. Then the building also has a circulation that connects all existing functions effectively and coherently. text
