This research applied three methods; questionnaire, interview and direct measurement. The evaluation of this waste has three main functions, which are of critique and determine the main contribution of: 1) fisheries waste from fisheries industry; (2) utilization of waste towards economic and social aspect. <br /> The result has shown obtained that there were least 6 fish species and 2 shrimp species which were commonly and widely processed, i,e: tigawaja fish (Pennahia macropthalamus Bleeker), bilis (Isthioporus tonggol Lac), lendra (Cynoglossus lingua Schneider), manyung (Arius thalassinus Rupp), cucut (Carcharias spp), pari fish (Himantura spp), krosok shrimp (Trachypenaeus spp) and rebon (Acetes spp). Spesific waste produced from salt dried fish were stomach, head, scale, fin of fish and \"dedak ebi\" from processing waste shrimp. Generally the quantity of whole waste produced each day is about 28,33-38,34% from what has been produced totally. The average of rucah fis is about 26-67 kg a day.
